General information

• The course's objective is to utilize the knowledge gained in continuum mechanics and the finite element method to conduct numerical simulations within the Abaqus environment. Throughout the course, you will acquire the ability to operate effectively within Abaqus and understand what you are actually doing.

• The course is conducted in the form of lectures. You don't need to have a computer with you. After each lecture, it is recommended to do exercises.

• Duration of the course: 30h, 15 meetings 2x45 minutes

• Passing the course (only for PhD students). You need to prepare your own simulation in Abaqus and present it in a concise form during the last class.
